The best we could get, folks.
Our table and decorations that Brooklyn helped set up in the dining room:
It was a delicious dinner. Meatloaf, rice, asparagus, bread, - sparkling cider for the kids and wine for us lovers. :)
We all went around and shared our favorite moments of the past 11 years. A special tradition I hope we always do. Starting at when Scot and I first met on eHarmony, our short engagement + out-of-state dating period, our small wedding when Jacob was 2. And now seeing our family of three grow to a family of five 11 years later. It was neat to remember the good, the bad, the funny and see how far our family has come.
Scot bought me some flowers and a card. (I bought him a Qalo wedding band.)
I got a Dairy Queen ice cream cake for dessert, which the kids loved.
And we broke in our game table booth for a fun family game night of Uno. (Brooklyn and Connor are both scary good, so watch out.)
Such a fun night celebrating 11 fun, wild and crazy years of being married and being a family!
Thanks for sticking with me. I love you, babe...
