Connor officially turned two before Christmas, but I'm just now beginning to acknowledge we have a two-year-old in the house. Since he's our baby and we don't foresee any more biological children in our future, I'm holding on to all these baby moments and "lasts" as long as I can.
This boy has totally captured our hearts. That's for sure.
At two, he is wild and daring, full of giggles and fun - and the occasional two-year-old defiant tantrum. (You know the ones.)
He's a cuddler. Gives the best hugs and kisses and high-fives.
Loves his orange blanky and doggy fiercely.
Loves mom, but his eyes light up when daddy gets home.
Wants to be with his big bubby and sissy all.the.time.
Babbles and talks constantly. (His favorite new word is no.)
Grunts or yells when he wants something and can't say the word.
Has the cutest ornery face you'll ever see.
Plays with cars and trains - pretty much obsessed with school buses or anything with wheels.
Sits on the potty with clothes on.
Runs across the couch, colors the carpet or opens the garage door when we're not looking.
Drinks milk and eats like a horse. (Seriously. Don't even mention the words applesauce or yogurt.)
Favorite shape is an oval. He spots them everywhere.
Favorite game is playing chase around the family room.
Favorite TV shows are Bubble Guppies, Wibbly Pig, Kipper and Sesame Street.
Favorite books are Goodnight Moon, School Bus, Five Silly Monkeys, Five Silly Ladybugs and 9 Fruits Alive...over and over.
Favorite songs are Itsy, Bitsy Spider, The Wheels on the Bus, If You're Happy and You Know It and This Little Light of Mine during the day.
Comes alive in the bathtub.
Sucks his thumb when he's tired.
Loves singing songs and praying before bed.
Smiles, laughs and smiles some more.
Connor is so happy and has the kindest of hearts. The best two-year-old out there.
We're beyond grateful for the miracle that he is each day. We all love him so much, we can't get enough of him. Our little buddy.
