He opened a present from us. A big dog, which he loved.
We went to the mall and got pictures with Santa. On a Saturday. In December. With a two-year-old. Worst idea ever. Two hours later, and we ended up with this:
Connor's terrified and Brooklyn's MIA. (We did go back and get free retakes on another day though, so it's all good.)
Memorable and funny moment for sure. :)
We ate lunch and went to the best toy store in town - Phillips Toy Mart. Connor was fascinated with the trains and watched them go around and around and through the tunnel a bazillion times. Definitely the best part of his day!
We came home for dinner, ate more cupcakes and Connor continued opening gifts.
He loved his new cars and the big gift from us, the Fisher Price wheelies amusement park. After dad put it all together, that is.
Apparently, Brooklyn did too.
And, just like that, our littlest guy turned two. Yikes!
Here are the two biggest things I love about Connor:
1. His joy. I know I've said it before, and I know I'll say it again, but Connor can make all of us laugh and smile like no one can.
2. His loving nature. He hugs and kisses just about everyone and everything. Even the childcare workers at church and Bible study have told me how loving he is each week in class.
Happy No. 2, little man! We love you and are so blessed to have you with us.
