Last week, we drove to Ohio and spent a few days with family. We had plenty of downtime and even made a little mini-vacation out of it too. These two did awesome on the way up:
The next day we reunited with Jacob - finally! Everyone was so glad to see him since he had been gone a whole month.
We sneaked in a family lunch at Brio. Our favorite!
A little belated celebration of our anniversary...goofiness and all. :)
We checked out the condo my sisters and I grew up in that's now for sale. Brooklyn loved my old room.
We visited Grandma (dad's mom) in her assisted-living apartment. Connor was obsessed with her little ceramic dog.
We spent one day at Fort Rapids, our favorite indoor waterpark.
The big bucket that dumped water every few minutes was Connor's favorite - he kept signing "more" over and over.
We spent another day at the Ohio State Fair. Everyone knows - fair food is the best!
We had rest time.
Plenty of time to shop at our favorite places.
Time spent with Mamaw and Papaw at home.
(The big kids favorite part - watching movies and sleeping in their hide-out downstairs.)
Time to celebrate Mamaw's birthday. Red velvet cake for breakfast - yum.
And wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.
