I got there early enough on Friday that I was able to enjoy our room's patio with the fabulous view, while Scot finished checking people in for the event. (Too bad I had a bum-cold the whole weekend.)
Then, it was time to get ready and head to dinner that evening. (Can you believe my purple dress was only $28 on Dilliard's clearance rack last year??)
Between the cocktail party, drinks, dinner and dessert, we were stuffed!
On Saturday morning, we woke up early and had a delicious breakfast. Just the two of us.
We drove home to pick up the kiddos and got back to the hotel just in time for lunch. The big kids were so excited.
Connor enjoyed eating and playing around in the stroller.
Until he got his fill and gave us the get-me-outta-here-now face.
Here's how we spent the rest of our weekend (when Scot wasn't busy working):
[Red nose and all...]
It was a great family trip - even with my runny nose and sore throat.
[Our crew looks slightly different from last year, huh?]
So thankful for family and this weekend we could spend together.
