[Late, like always.]
Connor, you are 8 months old! You weigh about 23 pounds now. You wear size 12 and 18 month clothes and size 4 diapers. These monthly pictures are getting harder and harder to take because you don't sit still for long.
You're still eating 5 jars of baby food and 24 ounces of formula a day. You've started eating puffs, Cheerios and rice melts for snack time a couple weeks ago and just love it. Your pincher grasp hasn't fully developed yet, but we don't mind feeding you. You're still working on the sippy.
We've stopped giving you Zantac and Prevacid for now, crossing our fingers that you've outgrown your reflux issues.
You have a total of eight teeth now, which means four have come just in the last month!
You're afraid of the vacuum, the icemaker and loud noises in general.
You're scooting and spinning around in circles, but no crawling yet. You have strong legs and like to stand on your feet if we hold onto you. You sometimes get in the "flying" position on the floor and start crying, frustrated you can't go where you want to go. It won't be long before you're on the move, though.
What were your brother and sister up to at this age?
At 8 months, Jacob was just starting to army crawl.
And Brooklyn started drinking juice and water from her straw sippy each day.
My arms may ache like crazy at night from carrying you around all day, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Happy 8 months, big boy. We love you!
