Celebrating Scot's big 4-0 surprise party at his parents with family and friends.
Just another dinner at home. It really is a family affair.
Officially on the market! Who would have thought that just 12 hours later, our house would be sold. We were (and still are) completely shell-shocked.
Preschool orientation. Brooklyn was so nervous to meet her teachers and friends for the first time, but Connor and I sat down and played with her on the floor. A few minutes later, she was playing in her own little world. I think she's really going to like it here.
Doctor's appointments. Connor's 5 a.m. wake-up calls and double ear infection. Brooklyn's 24-hour stomach flu. Picking up boxes and packing supplies. Carpool, homework, packing lunches. Making lots of phone calls. Searching for short-term apartments. Searching for houses, both old and new. Showings. Appraisals. Inspections. Making long lists of things to do. Starting to pack. Can we say...exhausted?
Feeling the weight of only 3 weeks left with nowhere to go...just yet.
Life is busy. Life is stressful. It may even seem impossible at times. But, we're still looking up.
