Tomorrow's going to be a long, busy day. Connor is scheduled to have his circumcision early in the morning. We originally wanted to have him circumcised when he was first born, but the doctors wouldn't do it because he has something called a chordee. (It's basically a really curved and twisted you-know-what.) So...we took him to a pediatric urologist at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and she said they typically wait and do circumcisions on these conditions once everything is more developed around 6 months of age.
This will be Connor's second surgery. His second round of anesthesia in just 6 months. [Details from his first surgery are found here and here.] The worst part is watching him cry in hunger for hours before surgery, knowing there's nothing we can do.
Even though it's an outpatient thing, it's still going to be hard. Please pray for all to go well. We appreciate your support.
