After talking with our pediatrician earlier this week about Connor and his not-sleeping, spitting-up and lots-of-crying issues for the past week, I feel more equipped to help him feel better. I took the kids to the store that same day and came back with an arsenal full of goodies. Baby-style.
I bought all organic baby food and cereal. (Earth's Best doesn't contain soy or any other dairy ingredients like Gerber rice cereal does.) More Zantac for acid reflux. And extra-strength Orajel for teething. Connor didn't seem to have an allergic reaction to Gerber cereal (other than being super fussy) but, because of his milk allergy, our doctor said it's better to be on the safe side and give him everything organic till he's at least a year old.
Zantac has cut down on the spit-up and relieved that burning pain, the Orajel has helped those swollen gums and, in turn, Connor has been a much happier little boy.
Now, we just have to wait and see how he does when we start baby food soon...and hope for no more allergies!
