(A little late, but better late than never.)
Connor, you are 1 month old now. At 4 weeks old, you weigh in at 12 pounds, 6 ounces. You wear size 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers, but you are already outgrowing them. You are a big boy just like your siblings were!
Here's what they looked like when they were a month old.
You are a sweet, laid-back baby. Most of the time you only cry when you want to eat, have your diaper changed, be held or left alone, or when you're just really gassy. At 3 weeks, you started having random fussy times that last about 3 hours a few times a week. We try everything to calm you down, but the only thing that seems to help is gripe water. We're hoping it isn't colic!
You are on a pretty good schedule of eat, activity, sleep. You are becoming a little more alert and you enjoy your awake time after you eat.
You are eating 5 ounces every 3 hours now. If it goes a minute past the 3-hour mark, you are one unhappy boy. You love to eat!
You like sitting in your bouncy seat and the swing. If you get fussy in the swing, I turn off the music and the motion and you are fine. Sometimes you get overstimulated and just want to be left alone.
We give you baths every other day right now and you just love the water. You don't cry one bit.
At 5 days old, you started sleeping 6 hours straight. We couldn't believe it! You typically go two or three nights of sleeping 6 hours straight and then other nights you'll wake up every 3 hours, ready to eat. Your sleep schedule is still pretty random at this point.
Tired or not, we are all in love with you. Brooklyn likes talking to you throughout the day and Jake likes holding you, except when you're crying. Dad enjoys having another little Bama fan around. And I thank God every day for blessing us with a sweet boy like you.
