Jacob had his first soccer game on Saturday. Well, it was actually the team's second game, but Jacob missed the first one last weekend since he was visiting his dad. So, this was the first game for us to be part of.
Jacob is on the U-10 Morocco team this year. The field is a lot bigger and there are official goalies now, which is different than years past. He also has a new coach with new kids on the team, but they all seemed to be adjusting pretty well. Jake's team won 4-3, with Jake scoring 3 of the 4 goals.
For playing soccer the past four years, Jake's got some pretty cool moves these days.
He even played against his best friend, Michael, and I'm happy to say they're still best friends...even after the close win. :)
It was a really good game.
After the game, we babysat our 4-year old twin nieces and 2-year old nephew the rest of the weekend. We went to the library, took a walk on the trail, played on the playground, had pizza and movie night with s'mores for dessert. Then, there was church, lunch and craft time. Scot started feeling sick sometime during the weekend, but he was a great help.
Love that my daughter is picking her nose. Ha!
It was a busy, fun weekend with five kiddos in tow (four being 4 and under). But, we survived!
