We are finally back from our family vacation. We spent five wonderful days in sunny Destin, Florida, just a mere 480 miles away from home. Our trip was incredible.
We stayed at Scot's aunt and uncle's beautiful home.
His Aunt Linda was the best hostess and the kids loved her.
We ate lunch and saw an alligator show at Fudpucker's.
We boarded the Southern Star and took a two-hour dolphin cruise. We saw at least 15 dolphins swimming in the ocean...and, surprisingly, no one got sick.
We played putt-putt golf.
We spent one day at the water park.
We drove go-karts, bumper boats and rode rides at The Track.
We went to the beach. And practically had the whole Okaloosa Island to ourselves.
We ate at all our favorite restaurants.
It was a great getaway. And a great vacation. Our last vacation as a family of four.
Our days are now filled with unpacking bags, laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning house, doctor's appointments, school registration and school shopping. I miss the lazy days of vacation and our time together already.
Until next time, Florida.
