Organizing Receipts

I finally organized our receipts from last year. I know, we're just a tad behind.

Our bottom dresser drawer used to be the catch-all for our random receipts. But, not anymore.

Here's the before.

And now the exciting part, the after.

I found these cute, inexpensive bins with lids at Target. They were the perfect size for envelopes.

I labeled one envelope for each month and voila!

A simple and easy way to organize receipts.

I just wish I had done this sooner!

Now, all we Scot has to do is add up all our sales tax for the past year to deduct off our taxes and we'll be good. At least until next year.
