Last night we got free tickets from Scot's work to go to the Nashville Predators vs. St. Louis Blues hockey game. The game started at 7:00, so we left Brooklyn with Kris and Jenn for the night.
And Jake? Well, he was beside himself. He couldn't wait to go to his first hockey game.
We had great seats in the lower bowl. Hard to believe they normally cost $75 a seat!
We had hotdogs, drinks, funnel cake and cotton candy during the game. Man, I would go to a hockey game again just for the great food!
Wynonna Judd sang during one of the breaks too.
Between the food, the game, the music, the breaks, the cheerleaders, the mascot...it was literally non-stop entertainment, which was perfect for Jake. I don't see how anyone could go to a hockey game and not have fun. Or not be worn out, for that matter.
The end result?
One dog-tired kid. And two exhausted parents. Mission accomplished.
Can't wait to go again next year!
