A prayer for our grandma's

Please keep our grandma's in your prayers.

Scot's Nana in Florida has been in the hospital for over a week now and has had numerous tests done. She is due to be released any day now, but they aren't sure where she's going to go yet since independent living is not an option anymore. Most likely, she will go to a nursing home for physical therapy or to an assisted living place but there are a lot of decisions that will need to be made.

And my Nana in Ohio hasn't been doing too well either. She was in the hospital for several days and is now at home in a hospital bed with round-the-clock hospice care. She may not have a lot of earthly time left. And that thought truly saddens me, yet I know she'll be in a much better place one day.

Please pray for both of these great women in our lives. They are facing a lot of pain, change and upheaval in their lives.

Please pray for strength for our grandmothers and those who are caring for them.

Please pray for good decisions to be made.

Please pray for joy in the midst of their suffering.

Please pray for peace. And rest.

Thank you for your prayers.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.
Psalm 46:1-2

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be
our guide even to the end.
Psalm 48:14
